Mill and Farmhouse

Beautiful vacant period property, a converted former mill with an array of unmodernised spaces that would be an excellent backdrop for a filming location. The property has a large main house, a converted windmill, and two lakes in addition to a section of the River Ouzel in the grounds.

The Mill was built in the early 19th century and has been occupied by the current owners family for decades. Originally a working mill, it has been converted to create a large private home. Internally the house has multiple reception rooms on the ground and first floors, with large retro bedrooms on the first and second floors.

The real draw is the exceptional first floor drawing room where the original working components of the mill have been retained, and with outstanding views over the mill ponds, River Ouzel and the Chiltern Hills beyond.

Only 7 miles from the M1, 38 miles from central London, and 17 miles from Leavesden Studios.

The backdrop is of rolling hills and trees. There is plenty of parking on site, including space for a unit base, and the property is available now for filming.
