Income Generated From Commercial Property

July 1, 2026 | What we do

A purple infographic highlights commercial property income, listing properties and their income generation from 2021–2025, with amounts from £245,000 to £1,350,000. Partner logos and Area 4 branding appear at the top and bottom.

Our role is to promote vacant space to the film industry on behalf of the landlord.

We don’t take any occupation as we are effectively acting as an agent for the landlord, working in conjunction with the existing agents who are trying to secure long term occupation.

The film industry only require short term occupation from just a few days to several weeks, maybe a few months.

No security of tenure is created and they won’t want to occupy for any longer a period than they sign up to.

  • We generate the interest
  • Deal with recces (inspections)
  • Prepare the film specific licences for the landlord for occupation
  • We invoice the licensee for the whole fee then ask the landlord to invoice us for their share, between 70% and 80% of the short term licence fee
  • We manage activity on site and oversee the occupation from entry to departure

We differ from a normal letting agent. Take a look at a sample of revenue we generated in empty Commercial Property from filming activity.
