Gorgeous period house near Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Main house has parts dating back over 500 years and Henry VIII once visited. Even though it’s a ‘manor’, it’s more like a very filmable large cottage. It has been home to royalty, hosted historic moments, and continues to play an active role in farming and conservation today. A 16th-century barn and surrounding grounds, meadows and fields offer a distinctive backdrop

It has its own large area of hardstanding so plenty of parking on site, as well as a great size period barn and several outbuildings.

Owners have done a great job at restoring most of it but also period correct so ideal for filming.
